Hi, I’m Melissa! The girl behind the camera, a Taylor Swift enthusiast (yes, I will absolutely find a way to relate something to a Taylor Swift song), and a history lover who probably finds old photos way more fascinating than the average person. I’ve always loved the way photographs can tell a story, even years after the moment has passed. There’s something so special about being able to look back at a picture and remember exactly how a season of life felt. I think that’s part of why photography means so much to me. I don’t just see a photo as something pretty to hang on your wall. I see it as a little piece of your story that you get to keep forever.

Outside of photography, I’m a wife and a mama, which has made the importance of documenting life feel even more personal to me. Life moves ridiculously fast, and I’m learning just how quickly the little moments become the ones you wish you could relive. I want to help you hold onto those seasons, whether you’re celebrating your wedding day, welcoming a new little one, or simply wanting photos with the people you love most. I’m naturally outgoing, a little goofy, and always happy to help you feel comfortable in front of my camera, even if you swear you’re awkward in photos.
